Physiology in Ayurveda is unique because it is based on the three doshas Vata, Pitta and Kapha. These three elements constitute the structural and functional biological unit all living cells, tissues, organs and body as a whole. When normal, which are the three basic tissue or pillars known as "Tridhatoos" to stabilize his life, but when abnormal, the same three elements are responsible for aging, disease and death, and therefore, called as "Doshas".
These three elements are in turn divided into five sub-types each, depending on their location in different parts of the body. For example, the sub-types of Vata are: – Prana, Udana, Vyana, Samana and Apana. In this article, I will discussion the Apana Vayu subtype. Apana Vayu sites are the pelvis, bladder, uterus, penis, legs, testicles, abdominal muscles, pelvic colon and anus. He is represented by the functional unit of the lumbosacral autonomic system. Apana Vayu is responsible of ejaculation of semen, the expulsion of menstruation, childbirth, the fetus, and the passage of urine and feces. Dysfunction of this course Apana Vayu causes of dysfunction and diseases of the colon (large intestine) and genito-urinary tract.
Now I will demonstrate in the field of infertility, how using these simple principles sometimes surprising given physiological clinical outcomes. Different causes of infertility should be treated differently. Ayurvedic treatment herbal is very useful in increasing sperm count in men, and is very effective in women in the cause of infertility can not be pinpointed, and in women with very painful periods. The very thin women and very obese who can not conceive also benefit from therapy based on Ayurvedic herbs.
The treatment of infertility is often a very costly affair, with poor success rates. In this scenario, the Ayurvedic treatment can be very economical, yet sometimes give surprising results. Let me turn to a case study to demonstrate this point.
One couple came to me in October 1998, with primary infertility. The husband, 40, and women aged 31 years, had been married 15 years ago. Since the marriage, the woman had not conceived even once. He had no history of abortion. Naturally, during these years, had consulted several gynecologists and all routine investigations and infertility treatment had not been done once, but several times. Most research on the couple within normal limits.
However, the woman had severe menstrual cramps. Each month during 3-4 days, was bedridden with regularity, and had to take a mandatory treatment for menstrual pain. It was also habitual constipation. A complaint more severe back pain, with pain radiating down the left leg, increasing at the time of your period. A radiograph of the back showed no no structural abnormality.
According to the principles of Ayurvedic pathophysiology in stories such cases, all these symptoms point to dysfunction of the Apana Vayu, for which Basti (medicated enema) is the best treatment. Therefore, the initiative in some simple medicines herbal infertility, and an enema 50 ml. sesame oil on alternate days. After just 20 days, had a completely normal period pain, to his surprise and joy. Constipation and back pain also disappeared completely. After only 3 months of regular treatment, she missed her periods, and asked to stop treatment. Its ante-natal period was uneventful, and later delivered a healthy full-term baby boy. Today is the proud healthy mother of two young children. Not only the couple to get rid of their infertility, but for the mother, the monthly test of severe menstrual pain is a thing of the past. Simple Correction of physiology based on Ayurvedic principles helped this woman to conceive, for the first time in 15 years.
Thus, using the principles Ayurveda evergreen, simple medications can produce amazing results and significant changes in the lives of people who suffer!
