pediatric bipolar disorder medication
Pediatric Bipolar Disorder?
My son is 5 years old and was diagnosed with pediatric bipolar disorder a year ago and now the medication that was prescribed (Abilify) seems to be working. I'm very frustrated and have discipline problems with him. Any advice? I've tried timeouts, the revocation of privileges, grounding and yes, even spanking and NOTHING seems to work. I just do not seem to care and I'm about to go crazy! Does anyone else has been through this before? We are working with your psychiatrist to the subject drugs, but slow. was diagnosed at 4, due to some serious problems and things he had done. There is also a very strong family history of bipolar.
I am bipolar, but it seems I'm not Add to my DR, but please, get a second opinion.
