severe anxiety and depression symptoms
can bipolar disorder get more severe over time if left untreated?
I was recently diagnosed with bipolar. I have been diagnosed with depression and anxiety symptoms. Would like to know if bipolar symptoms get worse without treatment.
I can tell you from experience that it does get worse over time without treatment. I live with bipolar disorder and have for many years. I didn’t know what the problem was until the mid 90’s. It had gotten bad then but still I wouldn’t ask for help. This year I was so out of control I finally went to my doctor. Now I have good control of my mood and temper and have little depression. I encourage you to seek the help of a professional as soon as possible. It makes a great difference and saves you lots of pain. You can even be happy and living a normal life.
