Spiritual healing for the mind, body, and soul. Need a treatment program.?
My husband has psychotic bipolar with self-mutilating tendancies (cutter). We were going to send him to Atl to a program called For My Life. His medicine has brought him a long way, but he needs to heal his spirit to be complete. This place in Atl is run by nun’s and is ‘a program of intense ministry…’. We aren’t joined with a specific demonination, but are spiritual, so we thought this would be OK. As soon as he told the sectry. he was a cutter, she sd that was the devil, he wld have to have supervision constantly, and (in other words) would be accepted, but not welcomed. We live near Chattanooga, Tn. If anyone has a recommendation on anther treatment center, I would greatly appreciate it. Hopefully nearby (up to 150 mi.)
There is a Christian Radio program, on in many areas of the country. They have a counseling referral program, and counselors onstaff, run a website, do short term “intensives” and are connected to treatment centers.
