There is a certain group within the general population that is affected by personality disorder. Sociopaths / psychopaths (many use the terms interchangeably) fall into this category. When many people hear the term "psychopath" or "psychopath" to imagine a series of cold blood murderer. However, a large percentage of clinical sociopaths can never kill.

However, their wiring is such that committed many acts of destruction that can be very destructive in your relationships. If you are involved in a marriage to a sociopath / psychopath, you can and spend some time dazed and injured on the actions of his partner. While only a licensed mental health professional can diagnose a sociopath, it helps to know what signs may be evident in a person with this disorder. Here are 9 signs of a psychopath:

1. A tendency toward boredom, and the need for risk behaviors, regardless of danger to himself or others.

2. The lack of guilt and remorse. This is a hallmark of a sociopathic personality. Your spouse may not have consciousness in the sense that the real guilt and remorse for evil is not experienced. The sociopath may regret getting caught, but often feels that he or she is entitled to be painful, criminal or immoral because the victim was weak and therefore "deserved" it.

3. Poor impulse control and behavior. Your partner may have difficulty delaying gratification, and may engage in behaviors such as drug or alcohol abuse, and sexual promiscuity.

4. Consistent lack of responsibility. Your spouse can not pay your bills on time, or keep a job, or to honor the commitments in life.

5. The superficial charm and emotional state surface. His spouse can have lots of charm, but lack real emotional depth.

6. Not satisfied with "norms" of society. Your partner may think and behave as if normal rules or laws of society simply do not apply to him or her.

7. Conning, manipulation and lying compulsive types. Your spouse may even live a parasitic way, with you and others for money and other benefits, manipulation to get what he or she wants.

8. Aggressive, the possibly violent behavior. This can be evidenced by explosive fights and other behavior.

9. An overly inflated sense of self worth. Your spouse may have a sense of superiority over others.
