manic phase bipolar disorder
What is the best remedy for the manic phase of bipolar disorder with fewer side effects?

ABILIFY zyprexa lithium lamictal trileptal seroquel other Depakote?

If we are talking about kicking in a manic episode, existing medium to high significance, Zyprexa or Depakote are probably good outputs. Both W act / on a couple of days, Zyprexa, possibly faster. Seroquel is in the same field, but can be very sedating, so there are pros and cons. (Depakote would be a better maintenance of medicine, so it might make more sense than Zyprexa.?) Lithium usually takes two weeks or so produced, is a great maintenance medicine, but as this takes time, not as good as an emergency one. ABILIFY can be activated, so not a good choice for mania. Lamictal is excellent for depression, but can be enabled and the valuation is as always (more than 2 months to reach a dose of stabilizer). Trileptal … hmm, not sure how long it takes to get at a dose of stabilizer. Dealing with the hobby, so perhaps part of the mania Stompers above. You have called most of those who try. It is true that all the world responds differently! However, there are only few that can kill you quickly. They are usually antipsychotics, but I know Depakote acts fast. Haldol and there are also some of the older antipsychotics, but you may not want to go there unless necessary. I have bipolar and take Lithium, Depakote, Lamictal, Seroquel a little, and have taken Zyprexa, Abilify, Geodon and (another activation antipsychotics). I've also done some research on these drugs I swallow and talk at length with my pDoc about them. A good site for med information from a user perspective is http://www.crazymeds.us We consider PPL most ad does not have problems with their medication. The many who do not, do not look on the Internet.
