bipolar symptoms in women
Wednesday, June 16th, 2010i’m a woman with BP II & when i’m hypomanic i’m attracted to women…?
i’m happily married to a wonderful man (for 26 years) but when i’m in a “high” mood swing, i think about being with another woman & even look at lesbian porn. does this mean i am bisexual or is it just part of bipolar illness? one of the symptoms is hypersexuality & risky behavior so maybe that’s all it is…i hope. anyone else experience behaviors they wouldn’t normally do when not having an episode? am i crazy? help!
I get hypersexual too when I’m hypomanic or manic. I have always felt like the hypersexuality just amplifies what I already am and feel but would not cause me to do something I would consider abhorrent when I’m normal……… When I’m normal I’m bicurious and a little bit kinky…. when I’m manic hypersexual I AM BI and am quite hardcore kinky…………. so things I already am but amplified……… could be that your are bi-curious (nothing wrong with that) and it’s just coming out more when you are hypersexual.
