Serious side effects of bipolar medications?
I have been taking BuSpar, Topamax, and Cymbalta for a while. I was just taken off of my Effexor because along with my Cymbalta (which is my newest medication).
Over the past couple of weeks I’ve been feeling really dizzy while I lie down, and while I’m sitting. Also over the past couple months I’ve been having terrible headaches.
Could my medications be causing this?
Cymbalta: difficulty breathing; closing of the throat; swelling of the lips, tongue, or face; hives; an irregular heartbeat or pulse; low blood pressure; dizziness, fainting, lightheadedness or weakness; high blood pressure; severe headache; blurred vision or other difficulty seeing; chills or fever; unusual bleeding or bruising; rash; coma; vomiting of blood
Effexor: Convulsions (seizures); itching or skin rash; lightheadedness or fainting, especially when getting up suddenly from a sitting or lying position; lockjaw; menstrual changes; problems in urinating or in holding urine; swelling; talking, feeling, and acting with excitement and activity you cannot control; trouble in breathing
