soft bipolar ii
What dose of Lamictal are you?

I wonder if anyone felt improvement with low-dose Lamictal, ie below 100 milligrams, for a mental health problem, not epilepsy. If yes, please let me know how long you've been there, and what other thing that you take. I am a mild bipolar II, especially depression. I can not take an antidepressant, because with my Lamictal them (all of them, tried a lot) do not activate my hypomania a degree of risk. Also, when I went to 100 mgs of Lamictal, I have a headache every day, which has been going on for two weeks.

I also I am bipolar II. I am currently on 150 mg of Lamictal and nothing else. I've been taking for 7 years and have generally done well in it. I am currently free of symptoms – not manic, and depression. The "boss" generally accepted, clinically proven theraputic range of mood stabilization Lamictal is 100 to 200 mg. His experience with Lamictal is what matters. Should be increased carefully. Below 100 mg, an increase should be no more than 25 mg and should be administered at least one week before considering even higher. Otherwise, it is an allergic reaction (rash) of risk. The decrease is also due done carefully to avoid risk of seizures. I wonder if a sudden increase in dose triggered their headaches or if you simply can not tolerate 100 mg or more. Lamictal can have a response of mild anti-depressants. I had an answer when I first started to 12.5 mg simple. Lamictal is very mild, and not experiencing any time know side effect. I went once and then experienced a significant hypomania followed by a major depression, so I believe strongly that it is effective in preventing I have been both good when I'm in it. If you really can not tolerate 100 mg or more of Lamictal, which is worth confirming, you can still get the benefit of stabilization mood at a dose lower than generally experienced 100 to 200 mg range. Lamictal has sometimes been inadequate anti-depressive perspective to get me out of depressions. Personally I have had success getting out of depression with a short-term intervention – I've had success with dopamine-affecting drugs such as Wellbutrin and Mirapex. The long-term use of these drugs has not worked activation. Only the short term to get me out of a funk. In the longer term overactivated only to be worn, and anxiety cause. Once stable, manic or depressed, I think that Lamictal is all I need. Once stable, exercise, stimulation and getting back into the flow of life is sufficient to obtain 100%. That's just my experience. Hope that helps. Good luck.
