What is missing in my diet? (I )…? bipolar disease

Here is my daily routine: Breakfast: Oatmeal with a handful of raisins and peanuts, and a banana. (made with water, not milk) Lunch: Lettuce salad with raisins, peanuts, lemon, two boiled eggs and salad oil Olive Dinner: Brown rice with lentils or beans also make a multi-vitamin capsules of omega-3, and a calcium supplement. I drink herbal tea and water throughout the day. I exercise for 30-40 minutes. per day. Is there any foods I should eat, leading to a more regular, stable, and even metabolism? Just the other week, my mood was different in every other day. I feel I need some food to calm me down, keep me less nervous – something my slow metabolism. Any idea? (I tried Lithium and Lamictal, but unfortunately could not) Thanks for your help!

First, it can not be stabilized without medication. If you have bipolar disorder, no amount of carbohydrates or proteins will be settled. There are plenty of other medications used as mood stabilizers, lithium addition and Lamictal – as Topamax, Depakote, a lot of antipsychotics, and so on. That said, it certainly helps to eat right, and my first suggestion would be to leave taking calcium. Episodes of bipolar disorder may be caused by a buildup of calcium in cells – lies – and reducing the consumption of calcium may stop manic episodes. Also – I've never tried, but in reality there are subsistence oriented brain – the supply of serotonin diet, diet humor, and so on, focusing on a balance of carbohydrates to give you energy and keep you happy. You seem to be eating very well, actually, but if you're interested in is really slow metabolism, then I suggest you not exercise as much (he cut it with a couple of times a week) and maybe eat some more. (Unfortunately there is not much that can do to slow down your metabolism.) It will not help your bipolar disorder Tho. There are plenty of people with slow metabolism, which are bipolar and have horrible episodes. Your best bet is to find a medication that works for you.
