Quit chewing tobacco if you are obsessive compulsive?

I’m bipolar 2, and have severe anxiety, and am obsessive compulsive. Yes, I am on medications, lamictal 200mg and 10mg lexapro. .5 mg’s klonopin twice a day when needed.

I started it 3 months occasionally. Hardly ever. I did it out of depression, not to have fun. I have been using it for the past 2 weeks, and I enjoy the buzz, but then at the same time, my anxiety can kick in and ruin it. and make me horrible. Last night I thought i had nicotine poisening.

I can’t chew tobacco/nicotine tobacco like smokey mountain. Its not the same as the real thing and is in influence to the real thing.

I do not cut anymore for myself, so I can’t use a rubberband, cus thats an influence to the real thing.

I can’t chew gum, because of my TMJ.

Idk what to do? I’m sad. idk what an alternative is. I know im not addicted. just incredibly anxious and obsessive compulsive.

Man, I’d get off this stuff asap: it’s disgusting and can lead to horrible cancers of the mouth, throat, and jaw.

Try a nicotine based gum: you don’t chew them like a regular gum, you just chomp them a couple times, then park them between your cheek and gum.

It should give you a little of the buzz you like without the dangers and filth of actual tobacco.
