topamax dosage bipolar
Topamax side effects?
I was recently prescribed topamax for migraines. I am currently taking 50mg/day but my normal dosage will be 100mg/day. I already have a slight “drugged” feeling and also I no longer have “racing thoughts” I find that now my mind is clearer and I can focus on one thing a lot easier. Will these side effects continue or get worse? Will I most likely feel more side effects as I up the dosage in the coming weeks?
I am looking for answers from people who are also taking this drug for migraine prevention and/or people taking it for treatment of bipolar disorder or anxiety. What are your experiences?
I don’t know about feeling drugged, but I know 2 Topomax users that have ended up with repeat occurrences of kidney stones. Apparently, that’s common.
