trileptal bipolar side effects
Trileptal & Abilify for Bipolar I
Has anyone used this combination of drugs to treat Bipolar I? I have tried more drugs than I knew existed for this horrible disease and they have either not helped or had such horrible side effects on me that I would have to stop them. This is the most recent cocktail the doctor has provided. Any help/info would be appreciated
I never tried Trileptal, but I did try abilify and that made me feel worse than better. The side effects were terrible. For me personally, if the side effects don’t go away in 3-4 weeks, they never will.
I’m on Lamictal right now and it’s been working wonders. It took a bit of time to get me up to a proper dosage, but I’m functional now, which is amazing. Unfortunately, what works for one person doens’t work for the other.
GL… wish i had better advice, but sometimes it’s long drawn out process.
