Is this the ultradian bipolar disorder?
I was recently diagnosed with bipolar II disorder. I do not know much about it as I have not had much time research. I was wondering what are the criteria for bipolar disorder is ultradian. The reason I ask is that one day my mood swings on So it's almost like 'four seasons in one day' – or, to put it less metaphorically, depression, normalcy and joy to all on the same day. Is this the ultradian cycling bipolar disorder? Or is it normal for people with bipolar disorder without the element standard ultradian have such big mood swings during the day. This is a question best put to a doctor, and I will when I next see one. But there is value in asking people on Yahoo Answers you may have experienced first hand what I'm talking about. My wife is BP1, ultradian rapid cycling with mixed episodes. His mood can spin twice in a day. Ultradian rapid cycling is relatively rare, and difficult to treat. As far as I know, most bipolars can not severe mood changes in this short period of time. You may also wish to consider the possibility of mixed episodes.
