valium bipolar

is it legal for probation to harass/threaten me about taking hydrocodones for pain when I have an injury? ?
I have an injury and have been taking hydrocodone. I only have a little left and plan to stop soon when the brace comes off. Probation is threatening to put me in jail as they claim I am a ‘drug addict’. I am dually diagnosed bipolar/high anxiety/ptsd and take valium too, but without it, I will be hospitalized. Can they legally threaten to throw me in rehab or jail?
My probation officer is a total bitch. I failed a drug test 18 months ago and went to rehab and have been sober. I did NOT get in trouble for taking pills. Like she had NO idea what an ‘addict’ really is, like when I was smoking meth and sleeping outdoors. It just infuriates me that she does not see how far I have come, yet wants me back in rehab; why? so the recovery industry gets more of my money and I have to drop out of grad school?
FYI- I have not touched meth in 7 years.
The theory of probation is to have something on you at all times. They don’t want to understand.. They want you to be confused and cooperative. If they use stuff like that it is in most cases it’s just smoke..
