wife bipolar
it think my wife is bipolar?
ok guys i need some help please! i think my wife is bipolar and i dont know how handle her. one minute she loves me so much then later that day she hates me… how do i deal with it? sometimes i just ignore her whenever she is in one of these moods. but my wife is one of those people who think they know everything and so i know she will not see a doctor for this… i didnt tell her that i think she is bipolar. can someone help me? i dont know what to do!

Bipolar moods almost always last weeks to months, not hours. You would also be seeing other wild symptoms, like dramatic changes in sleep habits (sometimes sleep 2 hours a night for weeks on end, other times sleep 14 hours a night), suicidal thinking, talking way too fast, not talking at all, suddenly spending money on foolish things (like 5 identical blouses because they were on sale, perfume when she doesn’t even wear perfume, etc.) huge changes in sex drive, etc. Most people symptomatic with bipolar can’t hold down a job. It’s extremely severe.
Something else is going on, based on your description. If she won’t see a therapist, you should, and get advice. Are you sure she doesn’t have PMDD (very severe PMS?).
